3 Days Bwindi Gorilla Habituation Safari

After your breakfast at the hotel in Kampala, our safari driver–guide will pick you up and brief you about the safari. Then, transfer to Bwindi National Park with a stopover at the Equator in Kayabwe for an impressive photo shoot and some experiments. Proceed to another stop in Mbarara town for lunch en route. Continue to drive through the scenic landscape with spectacular views of rolling hills and tea plantations. Arriving in the evening, check into the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Wake up early and enjoy your morning breakfast as you get ready to spend the day in the jungle. Carry your packed lunch box to the lodge and then meet up with your driver–guide to transfer you to the park headquarters for the briefing. After the briefing, you will be grouped in groups of four by the park ranger, involving the researchers in the search for the gorilla family. Once the gorilla family is found, you will be allowed 4 hours to spend with them, observing and learning about their behaviors, habits, feeding, play, building their nest in the evening, as well as taking photos for your future remembrance. After an incredible encounter, hike back to the starting point to be awarded a certificate for participating in gorilla habituation. Meet your driver-guide to drive you back to your lodge. Dinner and an overnight stay.

Wake up on leisure morning for breakfast, followed by check-out of the lodge and transfer back to Kampala with lunch en route. Arrive early evening in Kampala to be dropped off at your hotel or at any place of your choice. End of the trip.
