3 Day Queen Elizabeth Wildlife Safaris
This is a 3 Day Uganda Queen Elizabeth Wildlife Safari leads you to Uganda’s second largest game park popularly known as Queen Elizabeth National park home rich in wildlife species with over 95 mammal species including the unique tree climbing lions ,elephants ,waterbucks, warthogs ,antelopes ,and water animals like hippos ,crocodiles among others. The park is also home for bird lovers because it harbours over 600 bird species, including several crater lakes like Kazinga Channel, Lake Edward, Lake George, and Lake Katwe, which is a salt-mining lake
Depending on the point of your location, our expert safari driver-guide will pick you up and brief you about the safari. Then, set off on your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park in the southwestern region of Uganda, with a stopover at the Equator in Kayabwe to experience the longitude at zero degrees Celsius as well as take memorable photographs. Proceed to Mbarara town to have lunch en route. Proceed to drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Upon arrival, check into the lodge and relax a bit, or have an en route evening game drive in Kasenyi Plains where you will be able to spot various animals like elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, waterbucks, lions, among others. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at Elephant habs – Midrange /Mweya Safari Lodge – Luxury
After a morning breakfast, embark on the morning game drive in the Ishasha sector, where you will see the rarely tree climbing lions hanging out on acacia /fig tree, waiting to hunt prey as their main food. Other animals to see include Uganda kobs, Sitatunga, elephants, and many more. Back to the lodge to rest and have a hot lunch.
In the afternoon, head out on the launch cruise along impressive Kazinga channel which connects with Lake George and Lake Edward. During your boat cruise, expect to see various water animals such as a large population of hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, and antelopes while quenching for water along the shores of the channel. Other notable water bird species to see include: grey-headed kingfisher, Swamp nightjar, little bee-eater, Martins, Swallows, Nubian woodpecker, among others. Back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay as above.
Enjoy morning breakfast at leisure, followed by a visit to Maramangambo forest on foot where you will experience species like bat cave, variety of monkeys like Black and white monkeys, Red tailed monkeys, colobus monkeys, species of birds like African skimmer, Black crakes, Yellow backed weavers, Pied kingfisher, Martial Eagle, African fish eagle, Grey headed kingfisher, White winged tern, wildlife animals like elephants, buffalos, Kobs, green vegetation among others . Return to the lodge, have your packed lunch box, check out, and drive out of the park with a stopover at Igongo Culture Centre to have an experience of Ankole culture; visit the craft shop around. Proceed on the journey to Kampala to be dropped off at your hotel or Entebbe Airport to catch up your departure flight back home.
