2 Day Kibale Chimpanzee Tracking Tour
Our 2-day Kibale Chimpanzee Tracking tour is a short safari tour package that leads you to encounter these delightful, gentle apes in their natural habitat. Kibale National Park is known as the best destination in Africa for encountering chimpanzees and the best place to go on Uganda chimpanzee Safaris. The park boasts with over 1500 chimpanzee population out of the 5000 chimpanzees in Uganda.
On your first day of safari, you will be picked up from your agreed location in Kampala. Set off on your journey to Kibale Forest National Park, passing through the beautiful town of Fort Portal. Enjoy an en-route lunch. Arrive at the park in the evening and check into the lodge for dinner and overnight at Kibale Tourist Safari Lodge - Mid -range, Isunga Lodge – Budget.

After breakfast at the lodge, you will be transferred to the park headquarters for a short briefing about rules and regulations regarding chimpanzee tracking. After the briefing, you will be escorted by the park ranger through the forest trail in search of them. The trek can take about 2 to 5hours depending on the movement in the jungle.
After tracking, you will drive out of the park and depart back to Kampala to be dropped at your hotel or at any convenient place. End of the tour.
